My friend Laurie turned 26 yesterday! Oddly enough, she cooked us dinner. So, the least I could do was make her a cake to finish off the wonderful meal. I enjoy projects like this one as they're a nice little break. It's a great opportunity to choose the colors and have fun with different tips and designs.
Interested in ordering a cake? If you're located in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area I would love to hear from you! Feel free to email me at renee.vanreed@gmail.com.

Harrington Cougars Graduation Cake
My cousin graduated 8th grade from Harrington Middle School - home of the cougars. Above is their signature paw print in the classic gold and blue colors which was the inspiration for this cake. I made this cake with primarily organic ingredients which was a test because my cousin and aunt are the biggest chocolate cake critics that I know. They loved it! I was told the next day they ate all the leftovers that same night!
May I make a side note that the word "congratulations" is 15 letters long?! This seems insignificant until you have to fit it onto a small cake. I thought this cake nicely displayed the great feat that this can be to achieveat times.
